Artist Statement

“I have always loved the process of photography whether it is in the darkroom or in a modified space similar to a darkroom environment.  Monochrome is my preference especially when it reveals the spectrum of tones from rich black to pure white.  The unexpected often results when working in a variety of mediums from infrared, platinum, tumeric prints, anthotypes and chorophyll prints or gold toned images.  My hope is that the viewer sees the beauty or emotion in the finished image.”
