All that Glitters

This group of images represents work I have done with gold leaf.  In my work with alternative images, I printed twelve images on glass backed with gold leaf.  As the viewer moves past the glass images, the shine of gold and the glitter aspect is revealed.  A few of those images are presented here.

Others are printed on vellum with gold leaf applied on the back.  Some of the vellum prints are platinum and some archival pigment prints.

All images are taken by me with the exception of the reflective tree which was an infrared image taken by Lacey Leonard and processed by me in platinum and gold leaf, and the Madonna which was a stock image.
